Inspirational Teamwork in Palliative Care – Home Instead

Home Instead Sunshine Coast & Gympie are the winners of the 2021 Palliative Care in Queensland Inspirational Teamwork in Palliative Care Award.

Home Instead has earned an exceptional reputation within the community as a specialised care provider committed to tailoring support and developing sustainable strategies to enhance the lives of older Australians.

Established in 2011, Home Instead has become the trusted choice for personal support services, being recognised experts in advanced Dementia conditions and palliative care.

In association with their registered non-for-profit charity “The Home Instead Foundation”, the organisation’s core focus is helping those isolated and disadvantaged maintain their independence; to allow them to live in their own homes long-term and optimise their quality of life.

They do this by being actively involved in many community engagement initiatives; designing innovative programs that lead to better diagnosis, treatment, prevention, awareness and research.

We caught up with Felon Fredricksen of Home Instead to find out what winning the 2021 Palliative Care in Queensland Inspirational Teamwork in Palliative Care Award means.

Home Instead are so very honoured and proud to have won this award. We will continue to invest in new innovative and personalised options in our delivery of in-home palliative care.

We would like to thank our amazing office & CAREGiver team as without their passion and dedication none of this would be possible. We could not achieve the quality in home care and palliative services without them.
