Marg was endorsed as Queensland’s first Community based palliative care nurse practitioner in 2007. Marg is an experienced Registered Nurse (37 years) and Endorsed Nurse Practitioner (17 years) with an extensive clinical and professional background which extends across the continuum including acute care, specialist palliative care, hospice, residential aged care and primary care and community settings. She has post graduate qualifications in specialty areas of palliative care and chronic disease management. She is passionate about all things palliative care; including education and mentorship, health care workforce development and consumer engagement, particularly in primary health and aged care settings.
