Palliative Care Australia has released its 2019 Federal Election Statement today, urging the major parties to make palliative care a Federal health priority to ensure access to quality palliative care services for all Australians when and where they need them.
PCA’s Federal Election Statement calls for a range of measures to help address current gaps and meet future demand for palliative care.
Importantly, the statement seeks a commitment to fund and support the full implementation of the National Palliative Care Strategy, as endorsed by all Australian health ministers and released in February this year.
