Priorities for Palliative Care in Queensland identified
A collective voice of people working in Palliative Care throughout Queensland have come together to identify five priorities to improve palliative care services and supports throughout Queensland
Palliative Care Queensland (PCQ) the peak body for palliative care in Queensland has launched a new publication “Palliative Care in Queensland Priorities for 2019”. This publication has been created by Queensland specialist palliative care services, hospices, aged care services and peak bodies.
“Palliative care is everybody’s business. These priorities were decided as a group when the Federal and State Governments, health services, community organisations and community members throughout Queensland were talking about death, dying and grief. People who work in this space every day have come together to identify clear priorities for the state,” said PCQ CEO Shyla Mills.
