PCQ announces its 2018 National Palliative Care Week Activities

 

National Palliative Care Week grants announced

For National Palliative Care Week 2018 PCQ will once again be distributing five community engagement grants to PCQ member organisations. These grants are aimed at promoting community engagement activities during National Palliative Care Week, bringing the services, carers, consumers and the community together.

In addition to this, five nursing education grants we have been announced to encourage Qld nurses to attend the 2018 Palliative Care Nurses Australia conference in Brisbane, during national palliative care week.

  • 2x Townsville based aged care nurse grant
  • 2x Regional based nurse grant
  • 1x Metro based nurse grant

    Health Professional Forum: ‘Clinical Ethics at the end of life’ with          Prof. Ken Hillman
