Who can attend?

This course is for everyone. You need no training or experience in the space.

This education session is for members of the community, community groups, businesses, retirees or not for profit organisations who want to improve their confidence and skills in supporting carers, family members, colleagues or people experiencing a serious illness, dying, death or grief.

Why attend?

Empowers individuals to better understand palliative care, navigate end-of-life decisions, and support others through illness, dying, and grief. By building confidence, compassion, and practical skills, the program strengthens community capacity to care for one another and reduces isolation during life’s most challenging moments.

Places limited (includes light lunch): Free for people living in Rockhampton and surrounding areas.

Registrations close 5pm on the 15 April 2026 for catering purposes
