Making a Bequest

Bequests are another way of helping Palliative Care Queensland to ensure that all Queenslanders have access to quality care at the end of their lives. To make a bequest to Palliative Care Queensland, you must first ensure that you have a current will. Once you have a will, it is important that you discuss your decision with an independent solicitor or with a consultant at the office of the Public Trustee.

Palliative Care Queensland can provide wording that can be used in your will to assist in the bequest process.

PCQ – Suggested Wording for Bequests

Palliative Care Queensland recommends that wills are drafted by solicitors, to ensure that your wishes are properly carried out.
